bTITON Surveil app provides the intelligence needed to derive meaningful results for surveillance use cases in the industry. Surveillance is a very natural fit for video analytics, but it requires much more sophistication beyond rudimentary intrusion detection to deliver actionable insight. Too often, video AI driven surveillance data contains a high proportion of false alerts, non-contextual results, and a basic filtering of events that diminish the value of the AI capabilities. Our bTITON Surveil app includes the same level of intelligence and sophistication we have built into our other activity / event recognition apps. It provides the following capabilities

1. Automatic detection of any type of objects that is relevant for surveillance scenarios such as bags, boxes, devices, etc.
2. Derivation of interactions between objects, environments, and events such as person entering an area without security or safety interlock
3. Activity recognition for contextual event detection such as a person carrying away a device that he is not meant to
4. Overlay of important filters such as day of week, time of day, location, color of the dress, etc.

The contextual events derived from the video feeds are then piped into powerful user interfaces, email / text notifications, collaboration, and reporting capabilities for actionable intelligence. The dashboards can be deployed on the Edge or on the Cloud (public or private). For video data and AI processing, we strongly recommend the Edge model for efficient handling and privacy protections. We work with most types of digital and IP cameras, and provide / design innovative and cost-effective AI compute infrastructure. Our requirements are very basic to any video analytics scenario such as clear view of the target area, good illumination, good camera angles, etc.
